

Scissors are involved to create the slits that then fold to eventually give the tree its shape. It'sfor intermediate to advanced learners. I made 50 incomplete pieces while vending at the Hester Street Fair a few weeks ago. The final will look close to the last image, just working out some aesthetic kinks (for example, I think I'll go with red card stock as opposed to natural...dunno. Still debating). This and a variety of stand-alone origami ornaments, will be introduced when In Stitches appears at Crafts In Chelsea.
